چکیده
At the current stage of genetic studies cattle, more and attention is being drawn to autochthonous breeds. Native cattle have a number prominent phenotypic traits preserved unique genes their combinations lost by modern commercial breeds, which would be valuable use in selective programs. We surveyed polymorphism Ukrainian Gray breed according alleles exon 2 BoLA-DRB3 gene. The uniqueness gene lies broad variability its allele variants. Significant informativeness at DNA level quite important for studies. using PCR-RLFP method on isolated from 88 samples blood cows 5 sperm. identified 28 alleles, 23 variants were nomenclature ones (jba, *jab, *jbb, *nad *nda) “without established nomenclature”, share accounting 8.9%. Four *06, *12, *16 *jba had frequency above 5% occupied 69.9% breed’s fund overall. commonest was BoLA-DRB3.2*16 (44.1%). In total, we found 40 genotypes. Considering significant dominance variant *16, as expected, genotypes with inclusion occurred: *16/*16, *12/*16, *06/*16, *16/*24 *jba/*16. It present genotype two out three studied animals. Parameters heterozygosity, effective Shannon Pielou indices indicate that are characterized lowest biodiversity compared other Due has no inbred motifs. noted deviation toward increase homozygosity without deviations norm distribution Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. obtained results will used genetic-populational programs purpose improving potential breeds terms economically beneficial diseases cattle.

Major histocompatibility complex (MHC) represents an important genetic marker for manipulation to improve the health and productivity of cattle. It is closely associated with numerous disease susceptibilities and immune responses. Bovine MHC, also called bovine leukocyte antigen (BoLA), is considered as a suitable marker for genetic diversity studies. In cattle, most of the polymorphisms are lo...
متن کاملAssociation of the bovine major histocompatibility complex (BoLA) BoLA-DRB3 gene with fat and protein production and somatic cell score in Brazilian Gyr dairy cattle (Bos indicus)
The effect of the bovine major histocompatibility complex (BoLA) locus on animal health may be due to a direct action of its alleles on immune functions, whereas its indirect effect on production traits might be explained by the better general health conditions of more productive animals. In the present study, the BoLA-DRB3 gene was investigated in 1058 cows belonging to seven Brazilian Gyr Dai...
متن کاملCattle with the BoLA class II DRB3*0902 allele have significantly lower bovine leukemia proviral loads
The bovine MHC (BoLA) class II DRB3 alleles are associated with polyclonal expansion of lymphocytes caused by bovine leukemia virus (BLV) infection in cattle. To examine whether the DRB3*0902 allele, one of the resistance-associated alleles, is associated with the proviral load, we measured BLV proviral load of BLV-infected cattle and clarified their DRB3 alleles. Fifty-seven animals with DRB3*...
متن کاملDistribution of bovine lymphocyte antigen (BoLA-DRB3) alleles in Brazilian dairy Gir cattle (Bos indicus).
Brazilian dairy Gir (Bos indicus) cattle are a tropical, well-adapted breed, for which no information on the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is presently available. The second exon of the bovine lymphocyte antigen (BoLA-DRB3) was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of DNA samples from 28 Brazilian dairy Gir cows. Two experimental genotyping approaches were used: direct sequencin...
متن کاملGenotyping BoLA-DRB3 alleles in Brazilian Dairy Gir cattle (Bos indicus) by temperature-gradient gel electrophoresis (TGGE) and direct sequencing.
BoLA-DRB3 is a gene of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) in cattle. The product of the BoLA-DRB3 gene is a beta chain of an MHC class II molecule, a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells (APCs). Responses of CD4+ T lymphocytes to peptides are dependent on the presentation of peptide ligands bound to class II molecules on APCs. Genotyping of the BoLA-DRB3 gen...
